If you're new to Reydon... here's a brief introduction:

Reydon is a widespread village close to both coast and countryside in the charming county of Suffolk, East Anglia.

The village has an active and engaged community, with many local sports and social clubs as well as other interest groups and activities. There are thriving local shops, a hotel/restaurant/pub, a primary school, health centre, village green, sports fields, play areas, allotments and a much-used Village Hall.

The welcoming St Margaret's Church can be found at the edge of the village as can independent school, St Felix School, the eco-friendly Adnams distribution centre, Old Hall Southwold Cafe and Walks, Reydon Hall and Reydon Business Park.

There are also two Suffolk Wildlife Trust nature reserves in Reydon: Reydon Woods (famed for its bluebells) and Hen Reedbeds.

Bluebells in Reydon Woods

Just a few minutes' walk from Reydon across Mights Bridge, are all the attractions of Southwold, our more famous seaside sibling.

Southwold is best known for its brightly coloured beach huts, award-winning beach, atmospheric harbour, Adnams brewery and a vibrant high street with a host of shops and local amenities (including Southwold Library and post office).

Also nearby is Henham Park, home to the annual music and performing arts festival, Latitude Festival.

So if you're in the area, do come and explore Reydon - it's a great place to live or to visit if you are on holiday!
