Reydon Christmas Lights

The Christmas Lights form an integral part of the Christmas celebrations in our village, lighting up the village for the whole of December.

Thanks to the generosity of our local community, we are able to have trees lit up all around the village in the following locations: the fantastic display at Reydon Corner, outside Bridgefoot Stores, the Village Hall, Boydens, Barbrook Green, The Randolph Hotel and at The Drive/Halesworth Road junction.

On the first Saturday in December, you will find a wonderful community event on Jubilee Green, which is organised by the Blyth Valley Rotary Club, where the big Christmas tree is “Switched On” and we join together for some carols and to celebrate all our hard work throughout the year to reach this point.

The Committee is grateful to the many local individuals, local businesses, clubs and associations who very kindly support us throughout the year in varying ways. The Committee holds various events during the year to raise money including family bingo nights, quizzes, coffee mornings, an open garden event as well as a wine-tasting evening.

The Scarecrow Trail normally runs every two years and the Committee very kindly dedicates all the funds raised from the trail to our fund. Future events are advertised locally with posters and reports in The Southwold Gazette, and we have a Facebook page to keep up to date with all our events and news.
